What is the job role?Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant – Job VacancyWe are seeking a caring and responsible Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our students during lunchtime and break periods.Work Pattern7.5 hours per week (11.30am – 1.00pm)38 weeks term time only, plus 5 training days (39 weeks total) Key responsibilities include:• Supervising and ensuring the safety of pupils during the mid-day break, including in the classroom, dining area, playground, and circulation areas.• Assisting with the setting up and clearing away of tables and chairs before and after lunch.• Providing support with personal care when needed.• Enhancing the lunchtime experience for children by leading and organising play activities. This includes supervising games, encouraging appropriate use of equipment, and ensuring a positive and engaging environment both on the playground and in indoor spaces such as classrooms and courtyards.• Serving lunch to pupils while observing appropriate food handling precautions.• Supporting pupils with feeding where necessary and assisting in the development of eating skills.• Supervising and assisting pupils in returning waste food, trays, and cutlery.Unfortunately, due to the extremely high number of applications expected, we are unable to respond to each individual.
