catering unit.Reporting StructureReports to:General Services Manager / Account ManagerManages:Catering staffContext & Key ChallengesMaintaining Sodexo brand and service standardsEnsuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulationsManaging costs, suppliers, and staffing effectivelyKey ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver meals to agreed standards and service timesManage special dietary requirements and allergen controlsControl budgets, purchasing, stock, and weekly trading on eProfitLead, train, review, and discipline staff in line with company policyEnsure accurate payroll and compliance with employment legislationMaintain cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and due diligence recordsDeliver hospitality catering as required, including outside normal hoursEnsure security of cash, stock, and Sodexo-controlled areasSupport GSM with site services and provide cover when requiredKey AccountabilitiesConsistent delivery of SLA and Sodexo service standardsFull compliance with statutory and company policiesPositive working relationships with clients and stakeholdersEffective incident management and reportingPerson SpecificationNVQ Chef qualification (or equivalent)Catering management and team leadership experienceBudget management and financial awarenessStrong communication, leadership, and organisational skillsComputer literate, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work under pressure
