This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused, proactive individual to work with a world-leading facilities management company and support the safe and secure operation of the site.You will provide hands-on support for our security operations, ensuring buildings, people, and valuables are safe at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide ad-hoc support for security operations across all servicesEnsure buildings, valuables, and personnel are safe and secureHandle communications, including telephone, radio, and emergency proceduresControl personnel and vehicle access to the site, including visitor management and sponsor verificationMonitor and operate site barriers and CCTV systemsCheck detection monitors (fire, security, etc.) and take relevant actionUpdate records and maintain documentationConduct routine security patrols and carry out bag and vehicle searches as requiredRecord and report faults on security equipmentPerform random vehicle speed checks and site muster reader checks as per scheduleComplete relevant KPI auditsMaintain security vehicles as part of weekly routineCarry out general administration dutiesRespond calmly and effectively to emergenciesFollow instructions from line managers and adhere to site SLAsWhat You’ll BringValid and in-date SIA LicenceProven experience in a corporate security role or similarStrong observational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and a professional approachAbility to handle emergencies calmly and effectivelyUnderstanding of security practices and processesFull UK Driving LicenceFlexibility to work varied hours at short noticeWhy Sodexo?Working with Sodexo is more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
