destination you should input is Colchester, CO2 7UTJob Description:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning services at Merville Barracks, Circular Road South, Colchester, CO2 7UT. Reporting to the Cleaning Services Manager and Cleaning Unit Manager & Innovation Lead, you will supervise daily cleaning operations, ensure compliance with service standards, and lead a team to deliver a safe, clean, and professional environment.What You’ll Do:Organise and supervise the daily cleaning of accommodation blocks, offices, workshops, and other designated areas.Check and monitor cleaning work carried out by the cleaning team.Ensure all en-suite cleans are completed quarterly in line with agreed schedules.Organise and oversee daily replenishment of consumables.Cover staff absence within your allocated area and other areas as required (including Domestic and Clinical).Ensure employees returning from sickness complete return-to-work processes within two days.Complete and maintain all required training with employees, including Great, Intro, Cleaning, Health & Safety, and Transport training, in line with the Great matrix.Ensure PAT testing is completed on time and records are kept up to date.Maintain all employee documentation, including training records, fire safety documentation, and other required records.Be flexible to support other areas within the Colchester PFI as directed, in line with business needs.Undertake additional or ad-hoc duties as required.What You Bring:Recent experience in commercial cleaning at supervisory level.Working knowledge of Health & Safety processes, including COSHH.Ability to organise teams, manage priorities, and maintain standards.DesirableDriving licence (not essential).Administrative experience with good computer literacy.What we offer:Fully funded apprenticeship qualificationsCareer development opportunities within SodexoA friendly and supportive work environmentWellbeing Support – Unlimited online resources, a free health app with 24/7 virtual GP, and an Employee Assistance Programme.Financial Benefits – Discounts for you and your family, salary finance support, retirement plan, and a death-in-service benefit.Career Growth – Apprenticeships, learning tools, and development opportunities.Work Perks – Cycle to Work Scheme, volunteering opportunities, flexible work, full training, and a protective uniform.
