you’ll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient
wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience.You’ll be responsible for managing your own section

thrive in your way.What you’ll do:Order food and non-food supplies in line with approved suppliers and budgetsMaintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and Health & SafetyComplete all compliance records (HACCP, COSHH, temperature and safety checks)Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standardsSupport menu development and new food initiativesManage stock, portion control, and waste effectivelyLead, train, and develop staff; manage rotas and labour budgetsDeputise for management when requiredWork closely with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent servicePrepare for and support internal and external auditsMaintain a professional image and uphold safeguarding standardsWork independently, accurately, and effectively under pressureWhat you bring:Food Hygiene Certificate level 3 - preferableAt least 3 years’ experience within high volume cateringPrevious experience at Sous chef level and shift leadershipManagement experience encompassing team developmentExcellent culinary skillsHold valid ‘Intermediate Food Hygiene’ certificateExcellent spoken and written EnglishStrong problem solving and organizational skillsStrong leadership and communication skills with all stakeholdersGood IT skills with knowledge of word and excelHigh standards of personal presentationExperience with Food Allergies, Special Diets and LabellingUp to date with latest trends and industry developmentsGeneral Secondary Education or equivalent (English and Maths essential)Well-developed English language skills (written and spoken)What we offer:Working at Sodexo isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to
