Do you want to make a real difference in your local community?If so, we’d love to hear from you!We’re looking for a Healthy Family Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated Lancashire 0–19 Health Visiting Team, where you’ll play a key role in achieving positive outcomes for children and families across the area.What you'll be doing:Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out delegated mandated health reviews, including Pre‑1 Year and 2–2.5‑Year Developmental ChecksIdentifying children who may need additional support and referring into specialist servicesProviding targeted support on areas such as behaviour management, infant feeding, and other delegated packages of careWorking closely with parents and carers to support child development and wellbeingSupporting the delivery of Bump, Birth & Beyond sessions across the East locality (5.30–7.30pm)What we're looking for:You’ll be someone who is compassionate, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Essential QualificationsNNEB qualification or equivalent (e.g. BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing, NVQ Level 3 Childcare & Education, Foundation Degree in Early Years/Education)Essential Experience & SkillsExperience in health promotion or public health activitiesTeam working experienceAwareness of safeguarding and child protectionStrong understanding of child development and parentingFlexible approach to meet service needsAbility to work independently within a multidisciplinary teamAccurate record keeping and ability to maintain high standards of documentationAbility to contribute to audit and researchCompetence in creating and implementing family‑centred action plansStrong written and verbal communication skillsIT literacy, including local and web‑based systemsCommitment to continuous learning and developmentUnderstanding of clinical governanceFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWho you are:You’re passionate about the wellbeing and development of children.
