Production Shift ManagerSalford, M50 2PUShift patterns run Thursday to Monday, with weekend working included.£35,000 per annum We’re looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager to lead and motivate our production teams at Nupharm in Salford. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient operations and the highest standards of quality. With responsibility for managing people, processes, and performance, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, regulated environment. While primarily a production role, we welcome applications from a warehouse manager with proven people management experience Training for this role will be Monday to Friday, transitioning into either a Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday shifting. Job ResponsibilitiesLead and manage production operations: Overseeing all routine processes to ensure products are produced and stored according to GMP/GDP standards and documentation.Team leadership and development: You will allocate resources effectively, train, motivate, and support the Production Leadership Team, Zone Leaders, and operatives.Health & Safety compliance: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all production operations follow health and safety requirements.Performance management: Deliver departmental KPIs, maintain accurate production records, and drive continuous improvement across operations.Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Quality, Warehouse, Print & Componentry, and Purchasing to ensure best practice and smooth operations.
