Job Title:Cleaning & Hygiene Team LeaderLocation: Castle CaryContract: Permanent – Part Time 15 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Saturday & Sunday 6:00am to 2:00pmRate of Pay: £20.10 per hourAbout the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and hands-on Cleaning & Hygiene Team Leader to join our team at the Mars manufacturing site in Castle Cary.Supporting the Cleaning & Hygiene Supervisor, you’ll help coordinate the day-to-day activities of the cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety are maintained across the site.This is a hands-on role, so you’ll work alongside the team while providing guidance, supporting new colleagues and helping ensure cleaning activities are completed safely and to the required standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReport any safety, quality, equipment or maintenance concerns promptlySupport the day-to-day organisation and leadership of the cleaning and hygiene teamTake a hands-on approach, working alongside the team to maintain high cleaning standardsPromote a strong health and safety culture and Zero Harm MindsetSupport the training, induction and buddying of new team membersMonitor cleaning standards and escalate any concerns to the Cleaning & Hygiene SupervisorManage PPE stock, including maintaining records, ordering and issuing suppliesHelp create a positive, collaborative one-team environmentWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious cleaning or hygiene experience, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environmentExperience supporting or leading a team would be beneficialGood understanding of health and safety proceduresA hands-on, proactive approach to leadershipExcellent attention to detailClear and confident communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and support othersA strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safetyWhat We OfferWorking with Sodexo is more than a job it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
