Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Project Manager role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:
* Take ownership of a portfolio of works, including Solar, BESS, EV Charging and Substations projects, from start to finish.
* Programming and Planning of works.
* Take commercial and technical responsibility over your projects.
* Subcontractor management and negotiations.
* Regular CVR reporting.
* Providing managerial, commercial and technical support from planning of projects through to handover.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* 18th Edition.
* City & Guilds 2391.
* Either a certified electrician or qualified electrical engineer.
* Experience on relevant projects (solar, BESS, substation, EV charging, HV works).
* SAP either currently or previously (33kv minimum).
* Strong commercial project management experience.
* Chartership is desirable.
Personal skills
The Electrical Project Management role would suit someone who is:
* A self-starter, and ready to hit the ground running.
* Confident and experienced in running a portfolio of projects.
* Happy to travel, as this role will involve travel to sites.
