You will champion social value across the business and support teams to translate commitments into tangible outcomes.Key responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing Tarmac's social value strategy to support both commercial objectives and community impactBuilding, leading and supporting a nationwide network of Social Value Ambassadors to deliver consistent, place-based engagement across regionsIdentifying emerging social value trends, legislation and customer requirements to maintain a market-leading approachWorking closely with commercial and major project teams to develop compelling, evidence-based social value responses for significant bids and tendersShaping winning bid strategies by creating credible, measurable and deliverable social value commitmentsBuilding strong relationships with customers, local authorities, industry bodies, community organisations and social enterprise partnersRepresenting Tarmac at key industry forums and strengthening partnerships that support our social value ambitionsCollaborating with HR, Communications, Operations and Procurement teams to embed social value into everyday business decisionsLeading social value reporting, measurement and performance analysis, ensuring robust data collection and evidence managementProducing impactful case studies, reports and communications that demonstrate the positive outcomes created through our workSupporting ESG reporting requirements and maintaining evidence for external accreditations and customer reportingWhat We Are Looking ForWe're seeking a driven and influential professional who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
