Job Title: Industrial Cleaner Location: Birstall Contract: Permanent – Full Time 37.5 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm Rate of Pay: £12.80 per hourAbout the roleWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at the Mars site in Birstall.Working within a busy food production environment, you'll play an important role in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the site. This will include cleaning factory and production areas, as well as carrying out high-level and specialist cleaning tasks.This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, a strong approach to health and safety and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out industrial, factory and high-level cleaning to required hygiene standards.Complete scheduled cleaning tasks while minimising disruption to production.Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and correctly.Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults, hazards or maintenance issues.Follow all Sodexo and site Health & Safety, hygiene and security procedures.Support additional and emergency cleaning requirements when needed.What We’re Looking ForPrevious cleaning experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing or food production environment.Reliable, hardworking and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Good attention to detail with a strong focus on Health & Safety.Comfortable working in a busy factory environment and carrying out high-level cleaning.A flexible team player who can follow procedures and instructions effectively.What We OfferWorking with Sodexo is more than a job it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
