Responsibilities and duties of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:
* Complete PPM and reactive breakdown maintenance on manufacturing/ industrial/ FMCG machinery to maximise equipment performance.
* Conduct electrical fault-finding with quick response and rectification.
* Perform activities on 3-phase and single-phase power.
* Perform activities on motors, pumps, metal detectors, flow wrappers, ultrasonic utters and packaging equipment etc.
* Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Time served, or engineering qualifications.
* 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
* Previous experience maintaining industrial machinery, ideally within FMCG.
* Experience with welding is desirable.
Personal skills
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is:
* Knowledgeable of both electrical and mechanical duties, with a bias to electrical.
* Hands on and enjoys getting stuck in.
