Director of Economic GrowthCoventry City Council is seeking an experienced and influential senior leader to provide strategic leadership for the next phase of Coventry's economic and place-based transformation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, the successful candidate will shape the city's economic future by driving inclusive growth, leading major regeneration and investment programmes, and maximising the value of the Council's commercial property portfolio to deliver both income and wider place-making benefits.The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in economic growth, regeneration, infrastructure, property and development, with experience of securing investment, managing significant budgets and assets, and building successful partnerships across public and private sectors. They will combine strategic vision, commercial acumen and political awareness with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, inspire high-performing teams, and deliver tangible outcomes for communities.
