From preparing fresh, nutritious meals to maintaining the highest food safety standards, your work will make a real difference to the experience of those living and working on site.Working as part of a supportive catering team, you'll help deliver breakfast, lunch, evening meals and hospitality functions, ensuring every customer receives excellent food and service.What you’ll do:Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals in line with recipe cards and menu specificationsAssisting with breakfast, lunch, evening meals and hospitality functionsEnsuring food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality, presentation and hygieneMaintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environmentFollowing food safety, COSHH and health & safety procedures at all timesSupporting stock control, deliveries and food storageWorking closely with the wider catering team to ensure an excellent customer experienceAssisting with cleaning schedules and kitchen preparation for each serviceProviding a friendly and professional service to customers and responding positively to requestsContinuing to develop your culinary skills through ongoing training and developmentWhat we’re looking for:Professional chef experience in a catering or hospitality settingRecognised culinary qualifications (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 2/3)Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulationsAbility to work in a high-pressure, team-focused environmentA passion for cooking and delivering top-quality serviceDesirable Skills:Experience working in military or government cateringIOSH qualification or equivalentKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)What we offer:Join Sodexo for more
