You’ll be responsible for responding to security concerns, supporting visitors and contractors, monitoring CCTV and radio systems, and ensuring all site procedures are followed.What you’ll doProvide a professional, friendly and helpful security service to customers, visitors and colleaguesMonitor and respond promptly to security concerns and incidentsDeal efficiently with emergencies, including fire and bomb scares, following site proceduresMonitor CCTV and site radio systems in line with proceduresSupport third-party contractors and visitors, ensuring site policies and procedures are followedMaintain accurate security records, including incident reports, H&S documentation and the Site Occurrence BookLiaise with statutory authorities when required and provide relevant informationEnsure all Assignment Instructions are followed at all timesProvide regular feedback to the site management team on security operations and any concernsBuild excellent working relationships with customers and colleaguesTake appropriate action to maintain a safe and secure environmentComplete any other reasonable duties required to support the needs of the businessWhat you’ll bringValid SIA Frontline Guarding Licence – essentialFull driving licence – essentialGood IT skills, including an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft productsExperience of effective time managementExcellent communication and customer service skillsA professional, approachable and helpful mannerAbility to remain calm and respond appropriately to incidents and emergenciesStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete reports and recordsAbility to follow procedures and written instructionsDesirable:Professional or further qualification in Security OperationsPrevious experience working in an office environmentWhy Sodexo?At Sodexo, you'll be part of a professional team delivering essential services in a high-profile environment.
