Salary up to £60,000 per annum plus Benefits

As a middle grade doctor ( RMO ) at our client’s private hospital based in central London, you will be at the centre of it all, building a career at the cutting edge of medical innovation.

We are able to offer permanent and fixed term contracts up to 2 years on a part time and full time basis. Ideally we are looking for a commitment of X2 24 hour shifts per week.

Our client is looking for outstanding individuals, passionate to delivering first class medical care.
Duties of our RMOs can vary dependant upon specialism. You will be involved in Registrar level clinical duties and will play a vital role in managing the medical care, working closely with Consultants to ensure that patients’ treatment and care needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities
The role of our Resident Medical Officers (RMO) is to oversee day to day management of patients, ensure these patients are assessed daily, receive all admissions, participate in patient management with primary consultants as directed by him/her. Perform Clinical Care procedures such as intubations, chest drain insertion, venepuncture, setting up an intravenous infusion, inserting a urinary catheter, arterial blood sampling, or ECGs s when required.
Perform outreach rounds, assess acutely unwell patients in the hospital and complete administrative tasks such as updating patient notes, discharge summaries and prescribing medications relevant to treatment. You will also be invited to take part or lead ward audits and research to continuous improve and strive for excellence, for staff and patients. Attend Committee groups, in house training and other relevant meetings as required.

Skills and Experience
• Experience of management acute related emergencies.
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Full registration with the GMC and current licence to practice.
• SPR/Registrar Level experience in an acute hospital setting in the relevant specialism
