How the role fits in Maintaining and developing our routes to market is key, and we are now looking for an experienced Partnership Manager to take over the responsibility for the account management of a number of our partnership channels managing and growing the partnership network for customer acquisition and retention. You will be responsible for high volume sales management, orders, targets, reporting, partner incentives, and be the interface with the support administration process. Working closely with our partners you will drive sales performance through our various channels, which include both established partnerships and new initiatives. These are predominantly managed through third parties where the sales process will be managed with high quality and compliance. The team is close knit and welcoming where your efforts will be recognised, owning and building channels that will drive the business towards its targets. This is an extremely positive environment with numerous opportunities and will involve some travel and a certain amount of evening and weekend working. The role day to day Maintain and develop commercially viable partnerships to sell the products and services of First Utility managing professional relationships with key personnel to influence performance Negotiate and manage commercial terms and contractual arrangements Develop motivating campaigns and incentives in association with partners Oversee regular reporting and interventions to deliver quality and growth Manage the ongoing relationships to deliver value to both parties Coordinate the involvement of internal teams, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations Ensure compliance with industry and selling regulations Gather and record market and competitor information Promote the brand values of First Utility Key performance indicators include: Customer sales and registration Customer retention Partner relationship and feedback Commercially viable relationships What you'll need to help you make the best of the role Problem solving complexity Ability to clearly identify priorities and challenges to steer a path of greatest value while maintaining good external and internal relationships Clear identification of potential customer value to First Utility Ability to maximise the benefit from commercial relationships Knowledge, skills and experience Previous account management experience with a flair for salesmanship to optimise a product offering Strong sales and negotiation skills to build relationships with partners on a basis that brings benefit to all parties Excellent general business process knowledge, covering sales and customer management Financial management skills to deliver profit targets around gross margin and unit costs Marketing insight to recognise what will motivate consumers to buy Other skills required Ability to cope with several projects at any one time, sometimes working to tight deadlines Good team player across all departments and externally but also must demonstrate the ability to work alone and/or unsupervised Good organisational skills Good communication skills, verbal and graphic Attention to detail Flexible approach The nice to have's Experience within the energy industry is desirable Experience of selling products/services through a third party intermediary What you'll get in return Our people are our business, so our mind-set is  people first .  Spending much of your time at work, we know it’s not just about a rewarding career, development opportunities and competitive salary - the work space, relaxation areas and coffee matter too!
