IMMEDIATE START - 3 MONTHS INITIAL CONTRACT This company is the UK's leading SolarWinds Professional Services provider, specializing in Network & Systems Management Solutions. They are looking for an experienced Finance/Credit Control Manager who is highly organised with experience in a similar role. You must have a flexible attitude, be prepared to work to tight deadlines, with changing priorities and enjoy the challenges of working in a demanding role. You will be a quick learner with a pleasant demeanour who is able to work co-operatively with a wide variety of people and be able to challenge and suggest improvements where applicable. Reliable, dependable and willing to pitch in at all times they will also have a high degree of confidentiality and personal presentation. You may be suitable for this role if you have experience as a Finance Manager, Credit Control Manager, or Finance/Credit Senior looking for progression. Duties and Responsibilities Finance Admin - Raise purchase orders and invoices - Negotiate special payment terms with suppliers as required - Use Quickbooks online for all accounting transactions and processes - Create and upload supporting documents in the CRM - Create deal sheets breaking down GP and add data to commission sheets - Collate payments received and update Quickbooks and commission sheets - Keep and maintain a short term cash flow report for snap shot reporting - Process engineers expense claims Credit Control - Monitor new customer finance check emails and undertake checks using Experian - Maintain the report list with Experian and monitor adverse changes in customer credit - Request completion of credit account forms and process - Update CRM with credit details and add descriptions of any adverse credit issues - Update Quickbooks with company registration numbers, VAT numbers and credit given - Create statements of accounts - Instigate credit calls to customers before due date to ensure timely payments - Escalate credit calls as necessary to meet KPIs - Oversee bad debts with solicitors Skills: - Previous experience in Credit control essential - Positive, flexible, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility to ensure the highest standards are met throughout the business - High attention to detail is essential - Able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels - Confident telephone manner - Management and Leadership skills - Good IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office packages - Ability to establish and maintain effective administration processes - Excellent organisational and time management skills - Calm, organised and able to work well within a team - Ability to work on own initiative - Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload - Previous use of CRM/database applications
