Job Title: Mandarin Document Reviewer Key Sills: Fluent in Mandarin, Fluent in English, Excel, Archiving, IT, Photocopying, Support, Administration, Autonomy, Data, Criminal Law, Investigation Location: Inner London, SW1Y 5BS Hourly Rate: £11.44 PAYE - £14.37 Umbrella Term: 3 months (extension likely) IR35 Status: In Scope Are you an Executive Officer who is fluent in Mandarin? If you are and you're looking to develop your skills further, we have the perfect role for you! Our client is looking for an efficient and effective Executive Officer who can support case holding lawyers. You will need to be both well organised and able to take the initiative with a good knowledge of IT, this role includes but not limited to; assisting case holders in preparation of cases for trial, bundling and organising documents and photocopying, assisting case holders in preparing instructions to counsel/inquiry agents, booking counsel agents and experts, lodging papers with the court, delivery and collection of other documentation to the court, chambers and clients, arranging meetings/conferences for case officers and archiving files. General Responsibilities: * Reading into the case and attending team meetings * Reviewing and describing digital material in English and Mandarin using the digital review system (Autonomy) and excel software - tier 1 review * Referring any potential legally privileged material to the Case Controller or Disclosure Officer * Reporting to a multi-disciplinary team all evidential and disclosable material revealed by the investigation and where appropriate, identify further lines of enquiry * Managing large quantities of data in Excel Essential Experience: * Academic qualification of degree level or equivalent * Fluency in English and Mandarin * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Desirable Skills: * Criminal law training/experience and/or investigative experience * Experience of large document review exercises and working with digital document review platforms If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity, please apply within.
