As a Resource Planning Analyst you will be responsible for planning the schedules across our customer contact teams. With the customer in mind, you will ensure the optimum use of resources and also manage real-time changes, such as a spike in customer calls or planning around any absences.

As well as monitoring the performance of the schedules produced, you will also analyse this information in order to provide regular reports to highlight efficiency opportunities.

Main responsibilitiesWith an analytical mind, you will work with business volumes and forecasts in order to create multi-department resource plans and schedules. These will range from weekly, monthly and yearly plans to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and suitable working patterns for employees.

As well as planning schedules, you will also implement any rota changes/holiday requests and find real-time solutions for any unplanned absences. Being forward thinking, you will take into account peak periods and seasonal changes to ensure optimum availability for our customers.
Ideal candidateAs an ideal candidate, you will enjoy analysing data and ensuring accuracy in all of your work. You will use these skills to evaluate performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, and feel confident to put these suggestions forward.

Systems knowledge, such as Excel, is a key part of the role and having working knowledge of telephony systems would be an advantage.

As this is a busy and varied role, you will be self-motivated and able to balance your workload to ensure effective prioritisation.
