About the Company: We are actively recruiting for an experienced Office Manager for our client based in Derby, for a 12 month Maternity Cover. Under direction of the UK Operations Manager, the Office Manager is responsible for providing full & efficient administration of the UK Office as well as administrative, financial and inside sales support. Duties of the role: Responsible for ensuring the payroll wires are deposited into the employee's bank account. Ensure that all expenses and taxes are paid on time. Ensure that all expense claims are checked for accuracy, and receipts are valid and present. Also make VAT adjustments when required. Ensure that expense claims along with original receipts are couriered to head office in a timely manner in order to meet payroll deadlines. Ensure that the Office and workers are compliant with Health and Safety regulations. Responsible for creating policy and procedures for the Derby office and workers. Responsible for administration for all travel for all UK employees. This includes booking and ensuring that the corporate travel policy is adhered to. Assist sales staff with preparation of quotes, and any other sales related duties. Management of office infrastructure including office phones, cell phones, office supplies and other generic duties. About you: You will have 2 years minimum financial exposure ina similar role, and experience in office management. The ability to problem solve, work independently and clear, good communication skills are all required for this role. A proactive approach to work with the strive to achieve is essential, with a hunger to support and manage a team. You must also hold a full, valid driver's license. This role is being offered on a fixed term contract basis to cover Maternity Leave - salary of £22,000 per annum.
