Area Sales Manager DIY & Trade Sector (Hand Tools)

Our client is one of the U.K. and Ireland's leading brands of hand tools and accessories to both the Trade and Retail markets. Their brand has been trading in the UK and Ireland for the past 29 years and has a reputation for quality products at competitive prices.

They are now seeking a new person to strengthen their team of committed sales professionals with a view of growing their business throughout all market sectors.

About the Area Sales Manager:

The position is predominantly field based but some office work will be required. The successful candidate will be provided with office space at one of their relevant offices. The role primarily involves the sales development of the given geographical area and the customers contained within. The successful candidate will be responsible for their sales growth in the region, working with key personnel, and developing their business with both existing and new customers.

Requirements of the Area Sales Manager:

The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic self-motivator, with first-class sales and time management skills and a proven record of success, plus the ability to thrive within the demands of representing over 17 product categories and over 3,500 products from a leading brand.
