Teaching Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting an out standing Design & Technology Teacher, specialising in Engineering, to join their high achieving client school in Bolton.

With a member of staff due to leave on Maternity leave, this reputable mixed comprehensive are looking to appoint a hard working Design & Technology Teacher, with experience teaching engineering.

* Full time Design & Technology Teacher position.
* Fixed long term through out the academic year September 2018-2019.
* Ofsted rated ‘Good’, 11-16.
* Must hold QTS/NQT – D&T Teacher Specialising in Engineering.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS (�22,467 - �33,160) Experience Dependant *
* Continued support to progress through relevant CPD Programmes.

The senior leaders of this excellently managed Secondary school are looking to appoint an innovative, hard working Design & Technology Teacher specialising in engineering, which will join a dedicated staff team, working towards consistently raising student attainment, with outstanding teaching and learning. The Design & Technology curriculum is thoroughly enjoyed by pupils across the school board and achieves results, well above the national average, throughout the key stages; therefore experience with the Engineering curriculum is essential.

The role for the successful Design & Technology Teacher will include but not be limited to;

* Lead a full time table delivering innovative D&T Lessons, with thorough knowledge and experience delivering the Engineering curriculum.
* Promote a growth mind-set with pupil attainment and enjoyment at the core of teaching and learning.
* Plan, monitor and asses student work, reporting back to senior leadership accordingly.
* Confidence managing behaviour in class, according to school behaviour policies.

This well respected mixed comprehensive, with just over 900 pupils on roll, is located in the heart of Bolton, with motorway links from the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Leigh via the M60/M61.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
