A two form entry primary school in Central Manchester, M16 are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their SEN provision on a full time basis. The position is to start ASAP and will be on going. The school are looking to appoint permanently for this position, so the opportunity to work onto a school based contract will be possible for the right person. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with special education needs and will be looking to enhance their career in education with in a ‘GOOD’ primary school.

The provision holds 16 children, aged between 4 and 8, who all have varying needs. Each child spends some of their day in the SEN provision and the rest of the day in their mainstream class rooms. The ideal candidate would be based in the SEN provision but would also be expected to offer support to their key children in the classroom as well. This primary school is ‘GOOD’ in all areas with aspects of 'OUTSTANDING' and is looking for a dedicated practitioner, with continually high standards to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN and will be looking for a full time support role.

To be considered for this role, you must:

* Have experience working with SEN
* Have experience working with children
* Have an enhanced and up to date DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
