Becoming a Finance Manager with Capita Life, Pensions & Specialist: An exceptional opportunity to support the Divisional Reporting Finance team in our Cheltenham office, initially on a 9 month fixed term contract. This is a broad & varied role with good scope for personal development in an expanding division. Would suit a commercially focused, qualified accountant with experience of a large, complex environment & partnering with numerous stakeholders. What you will do: Consolidation of Divisional financial reporting & meeting all deadlines Be the first point of contact for the divisional finance teams Provide support to overheads cost centre managers in managing & understanding their cost base providing financial integrity to month end process Developing management information implementing, & ensuring compliance with all Capita finance policies Challenge business to explain material variances, understanding real issues to highlight to senior management Responsibilities may include some or all of the following other tasks :- Cash flow - preparation of cash flow forecasts for overheads Cash flow - analysis of divisional cashflow forecasts Business Plan - this will include BP cost forecasting & analysis for overheads Business Plan - consolidation of divisional reporting Working Capital - analysis of divisional working capital forecasts Your experience will include: Good knowledge of Excel advantageous - confident with formulas, pivot tables etc Understanding of Accounting principles High level of detail and accuracy Knowledge of Sap would be advantageous though not essential Qualified accountant with good management accounting experience & commercial acumen Effectively communicate complex finance issues to non-finance people.
