Co-ordinator (Programmes / Partnerships) Position: Programmes & Partnerships Co-ordinator Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (accessible from London Underground - Metropolitan line and Chiltern mainline services). Our Christian partners in Egypt, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine run hospitals, clinics, schools and centres for people with disabilities. They provide support services for refugees, work for women's empowerment, community development and supply humanitarian relief. About the role Key priorities will include: - Supporting the team to manage the project cycle of multi-annual and short-term grants through effective grant administration and processing under the supervision of the Director of Programmes and Partnerships - Support the team to ensure all overseas partnerships and projects are managed in compliance with the charity's policies and standards. - Respond to requests from the Fundraising and Marketing Department for information and case studies from Embrace partners for use in promotional, media and supporter materials. - Strengthen Embrace's partners at a distance through sharing information and useful tools, encouraging networking opportunities, arranging training and capacity-building opportunities as they arise. - Support the team to organise travel itineraries for Embrace staff, trustees and external contacts to Lebanon, as required. - Organise regular team meetings, as required by the team and be responsible for minute-taking. About you We are seeking applicants who are sympathetic to Embrace's Christian values and have: proven organisational and administrative skills, ability to research and analyse narrative and financial documents, awareness of the key development issues affecting Lebanon and Syria, excellent written and spoken communication skills.
