My client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. They are looking for a qualified accountant, with strong commercial accounting skills.You will be a service focused, driven individual that can collate and analyse both financial and non-financial data and from it, generate insightful management information. You will work closely with operating business management team and be comfortable communicating at all levels across the business. Duties will include: Support the Director in the provision of financial and commercial support and advice Support its business winning, bidding, project control and customer relationship activities Liaise between the wider Finance function and the business to ensure that information flows both ways in a timely and effective manner Promote the use and maintenance of project, programme and business risks and opportunities Provide insightful, topical and relevant management information that adds value to the overall results Drive the monthly earnings process ensuring accuracy in reporting Maintain a detailed understanding of the commercial requirements of all framework/ contractual agreements Support the management teams in budget and forecast setting and in meeting / exceeding their financial goals Prepare and deliver financial training to the business and project management teams To maintain on behalf of the business the project, programme and business financial risks and opportunities Ensure project reviews are undertaken on a risk-related basis Identify areas for improvement in terms of processes and procedures Provide ad hoc support and information as required. Role will suit a qualified accountant with strong commercial experience.You will ideally be working within a client focused service based environment in a business partnering or commercial role.You will be a strong communicator, ideally with experience of the bid modelling process.
