As Citizen Campaign Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects, advice and campaign activities in support the company's behaviour change programme for citizen food waste prevention. This will include Public Relations (PR) delivery. You will also be developing and supporting innovative partnerships with business, community groups, charities and local authorities in order to encourage waste prevention activities by individuals and businesses. This is a full time, 12-month contract role, based in Banbury. What will I be doing? Managing a portfolio of projects, partnership initiatives and direct campaign delivery activities to support increased waste prevention; ensure delivery on time and to budget with achievement of agreed communication activities and outputs Working flexibly within teams to deliver campaign activities and develop key partnerships. As part of this, to lead on the development of the design and implementation of high quality behavioural change campaigns, including PR activity, that delivers measurable results Supporting Campaign Managers in the development of research, insights and knowledge which underpin the company's understanding of citizen attitudes and behaviour in the area of food waste prevention Promoting key strategic partnerships working in the core campaign areas and provide 'hands on' advice, support and management of funding to selected partners to help them meet campaign objectives Managing and developing materials for partners and direct delivery, ensuring that they are produced to the highest standard and maintain the integrity of the company's brands Ensuring the company's citizen insights, materials and knowledge are shared with appropriate partners Sharing best practice in campaign project management, contract management and internal processes and systems to ensure effective and consistent delivery in the team Providing progress reports and expenditure forecasts for projects as required by the Programme Area Manager to inform monthly and quarterly reporting on the programme; including those relating to monitoring and evaluation of partnership/project impacts Ensuring all projects and partnership initiatives are carried out in line with the aims and objectives of the company. Campaign Project Managers will be responsible for project development, execution, monitoring and evaluation of activities from initiation to closure in line with the established principles and operating procedures Measure: the skills I need Experience of successfully delivering behaviour change projects to citizen audiences Experience of communications and /or marketing Demonstrable experience of working in a media environment including the successful delivery of PR Demonstrable experience using social media to deliver campaigns Demonstrable experience of development of alliances and partnerships to meet delivery of objectives. Evidence of excellent project management skills Proven ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Sound knowledge of food sector and food waste issues (desirable) Competences include: Commercial Awareness - Liaises with appropriate people in other business, public sector and third sector organisations to work together on activities which support shared objectives Planning & organising - Prioritises own activity to manage volume of work and achieve agreed targets. Plan individual projects from initiation to prepare realistic estimates of time and resources required to deliver support, and build in contingencies and time for dealing with set-backs. Proactively seeks clarification of objectives to ensure own contribution is aligned to overall Company goals Stakeholder management - Develops and maintains effective working relationships with people at all levels in support of accomplishing personal and team targets. Influencing & negotiating - Shows respect for the views of others; works through problems to reach solutions acceptable to all parties.
