Are you a highly experienced event management professional who can start immediately?

Our client is a membership body who organise a wide variety of events for members. They are seeking a Head of Event Operations to join on a 12 month maternity cover contract and take responsibility for the overall operational strategy for the events portfolio. This includes the development and management of new and existing programmes including Awards, Academies, Forums and networking events as well as adhoc programmes and leadership training programmes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum 5 years commercial events experience
• Minimum 3 yrs line management experience
• Budget Management experience
• Experience with Awards, Conference and Training programmes

SKILLS:
• Exceptional administrative & project management skills
• Fantastic interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adept at building & nurturing relationships with key clients, VIPs & stakeholders
• Strong negotiation & troubleshooting skills
• Experience of Adobe InDesign/Photoshop is desirable
• Experience of Eventsforce is desirable
• Advanced proof-reading skills
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint
