This elegant, multi award winning Berkshire hotel is set within majestic buildings offering 3 restaurants which all produce innovative cuisine to high standards using fresh simple produce are currently looking for a Baker to join their pastry kitchen team.

As Baker you will be an integral part of the team in the kitchen using your flair and creativity to the highest of standards. The key focus of your role is to share your passion and enthusiasm with your team and help support, train, mentor and develop them.

As Baker you will be assisting the Head Pastry Chef run the bakery ensuring a high consistency level of production.

Main Responsibilities of this Baker Role are:
Ensure a clean, tidy and organised environment at all times
To be able to plan the day to day running of all sections effectively
Carry out quality checks on all stock, produce and dishes on a daily basis
To be able to look after the operation during the absence of the Head Pastry Chef and attend and run meetings as and when required
Have a flexible ability to respond to business and client need.

For this Baker position you must be educated to NVQ Level 2 & 3, have a good understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety practises, be very well presented at all times, and you must have previous experience at rosette level and within high quality hotels.
You must also have a full and stable CV with good traceable references.
