London based Digital Agency are looking for a Senior Resource Manager to come on board with immediate effect! The Senior Resource Manager should have previous agency experience, ideally within a digital or integrated agency, and be looking for that next step up.

The role of Senior Resource Manager is all about clear leadership, organisation and good planning! You should be the kind of person who likes to know what is going on, and can communicate clearly with various teams to ensure that the agency has the right people on board to deliver the assigned work.

This digital agency are around 100 in size and work with a list of leading brands, and are part of a bigger network. They are very proud of the brands that they work, their culture with and they employ individuals who share their passion.

As Senior Resource Manager you will:

- accurately schedule studio resources, using various resource tools
- be responsible for the planning of resource across the business, working with senior members of staff to analyse mid to long term resource requirements and help plan ahead
- identify and escalate the need for freelancers, managing freelance contracts and signing off timesheets
- manage the onboarding process for all new and permanent and freelance employees
- identify conflicts of resource within the business, and work with the heads of departments to come up with solutions
- line manage a Junior Resource Manager, including their personal development

The Senior Resource Manager should have an open and friendly manner as well as strong commercial acumen. They need to be able to work well under pressure, and be able to resolve resource issues and build strong internal relationships with senior members of staff.

Key experience that they are looking for in the Senior Resource Manager:

- ability to lead, manage and motivate all members of the studio
- previous experience in a similar role within a digital environment/agency
- strong ability to manage and resolve resource booking conflicts, and reduce the ratio of freelance expenditure against monthly revenue
- excellent knowledge of digital, especially web development process
- strong planning, analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- excellent knowledge of resource management systems and processes
- ability to plan ahead and see the big picture
- previous experience managing a junior member of staff is ideal but not essential
