Our client is an independent hospital, delivering personalised and professional services to a range of patients across multiple clinical specialities. The radiology service is absolutely key to our ability to deliver a range of support, diagnostic and therapeutic services and is seeking to grow its business and strengthen its team.

We currently provide a range of imaging services including general X-Ray, fluoroscopy, vascular and gynaecological ultrasound, theatres, interventional procedures, and mobile CT & MRI.

As the Radiology Manager you will work alongside the Clinical Manager to champion, lead and inspire the team, implement and monitor working processes and policies, build on the existing strengths of the service enhancing efficiency and maximising resources. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic outlook to ensure the delivery of a high quality diagnostic imaging service across the Hospital. Skills in staff, budgetary management and the ability to lead and develop a multi disciplinary team with innovation will be vital.

You will be required to liaise closely with the mobile CT/MRI team ensuring a quality service is delivered. The Hospital has a vision to grow its business in the near future and imaging will be a key part of the growth.

You will have key relationships with all the departments within the hospital and will be interacting with Consultants on a daily basis and so excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

You must have a Diploma from the College of Radiographers or hold a BSc in Radiology, be registered with the HCPC and have undertaken or be willing to undertake the ILS course. A management qualification and Radiation Protection Supervisors qualification is desirable but not essential, you must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and business development experience.
