With an upcoming position in our client school based in Rochdale, we are in the process of recruiting a Geography teacher to start in the new academic year, 2018-2019.

* Full time Geography teacher position, starting September 2018.
* Initially on a temporary supply basis for 12 months with the potential to progress.
* Must hold QTS/NQT – Subject specialism is essential.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS (�22,917 - �38,633) Dependant on experience*

The incoming Geography Teacher will be required to;

* Lead a full time table covering the Geography curriculum at both Key stages 3 & 4.
* Plan, mark and deliver outstanding Geography lessons; meeting the needs of all pupils through varied levels of teaching and learning.
* Positively manage behaviour in class and ensure pupils remain engaged, through behaviour policies in place by the school.

This growing secondary school, with just over 700 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 has continued to improve through the guidance of its senior staff. The successful Geography teacher can expect to join a hard working and supportive school priding themselves in the success of their pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
