Key Worker - The Prevention Alliance (TPA) Salary Scale 4  £18,870 – 20,541 Fixed term contract until 31st May 2020 37 hours per week Although directly employed by Stockport Homes, you will work in partnership with five other Alliance partners to deliver the TPA Service, improving the health and wellbeing of people in Stockport. The TPA provide information and advice, work with people to deliver a person led, strengths based approach to improve relationships, wellbeing and increase independence and resilience. The TPA also build community capacity by exploring and developing informal networks of support to meet our key aim of preventing, reducing or delaying the need to access formal and statutory services. Members of the Alliance are; Age UK Stockport (AUKS), Nacro, TLC (Talk, Listen, Change), Stockport Homes Group, Synergy and Threshold. Enthusiastic and dedicated you will have a commitment to work as positive team member to help vulnerable people and make a real difference. Ideally you will have the experience or the skills to support a wide range of vulnerable people and households, be a confident and diplomatic communicator and have the ability to build strong working relationships. An ability to organise and prioritise your own workload is essential. The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
