CSP Ltd. are a leading service provider specialising in venue & event management. We work in partnership with leading sports and entertainment venues in the UK providing a number of services including; internal and external traffic management, security & stewarding and crowd management services.

CSP are pleased to announce the above vacancy within the Operations department. The purpose of this role is to manage the service delivery to allocated contracts, ensuring that an exemplary operational service is delivered within budget and in accordance with CSP's Mission, Strategy and Objectives.

We are looking for a people-focussed, motivated Senior Operations Manager, whose core responsibilities will be to:

* Maximise the service levels achieved by CSP
* Develop and nurture strong, effective, professional relationships with all allocated clients
* Support the Head of Operations with the production and achievement of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements
* Support the Quality Solutions Manager and the Head of People in maintaining and developing CSP's compliance and accreditations.
* Work in partnership with the Quality Solutions Manager to develop and implement a schedule of operational audits that specifically measure and continuously improve service delivery
* Responsible for the operational planning, delivery and review for all events.
* Attend internal and external pre-planning event meetings, post-event debriefs, management meetings and workshops.
* Support the Recruitment & Resourcing team with the recruitment of CSP's frontline staff to ensure that the appropriate number of geographically-based staff are sourced, retained and booked to support allocated contracts and events, so as to minimise the need for subcontracted services from third parties.
* Ensure all aspects of CSP's operations are carried out in a safe manner at all times
* Analyse historical data (e.g. manpower, costs, wastage, profit / contract performance) and develop new operational strategies to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Provide line management to all reports with a focus on proactive mentoring, coaching, development and team succession planning.

Requirements of the Senior Operations Manager:


* At least 5 years' experience in an operational management position, preferably within a service delivery or related industry.
* Proven experience in providing multi-service delivery.
* Proven experience in the leadership, development and management of people.


* Valid SIA Licence.
* First Aid Certificate.
* CSAS Accreditation.
* Chapter 8 Accreditation.
* British Safety Council Health and Safety Awards 1 and 2.
* Recognised Business Management qualification or working towards one (preferred).


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent influencing and coaching skills.
* Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
* Ability to champion and promote new ideas that contribute to the aims and meet the business needs of Service Units and CSP as a whole.
* Project management skills.
