Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Senior Process Engineer for our team, working 37.5 hours a week.

The ideal Senior Process Engineer:

- Experienced engineer with relevant technical background and level of expertise.
- Extensive Process Engineering experience in mixed material, glass, polymers and plastic recycling or similar discipline.
- Knowledge of the waste & recycling industry.
- Knowledge of corporate financial systems and capital expenditure management.
- Extensive people management experience within a large department/region at senior level.
- Experience in the development of technical solutions from concept selection, through design development, installation and commissioning.
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
- Driving licence.

Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities include:

The Senior Process Engineer will lead the plant optimisation programme across the recycling business, identifying engineering solutions and programmes of investment to improve safety, plant performance, quality and capacity. You will work closely with Head of Recycling Operations, site management teams and Project Engineers and provide a structured and systematic approach to plant optimisation which ensures that robust technical preparation is completed prior to project delivery. Duties include:

- Carry out assessments of plant performance, quality, and capability against plant design, budget and/or customer specifications.
- Support & validate any site level initiatives, ensuring that robust technical preparation is completed and confirming that proposals are safe, technically feasible and financially viable.
- Work with project teams to develop preliminary designs (PFD/PID) for design/build proposals.
