Peripatetic Registered Care Home Manager - Mental Health - �50000 per Annum - Liverpool Region

STR Group Services are pleased to consider applications for the position of Peripatetic Registered Care Home Manager working for our client based in the Liverpool area on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and have previous management experience, preferably in the private sector.
You will need to have essential skills and experience for the position such as a first level nursing qualification with a current PIN and you'll be up to date with current evidence-based practice with a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations.

Due to the nature of this Position you will be required to hold a full UK driving Licence along with your own transport. The role may also involve travelling outside of your region and could involve overnight stays depending on location.

Previous experience providing care for young adults with complex physical or Mental health needs would be advantageous but not essential.

As part of your role as the Manager you will be responsible for making sure everything runs as it should. Making sure that the home is compliant and is meeting operational and financial targets is part of your remit, but most of all, it's about ensuring that the service users receive the highest possible care.

As part of you role you'll be responsible for:

* Identifying new business opportunities
* Managing budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that the home is profitable
* Ensuring compliance with regulations
* Working with regulatory bodies and local placing authorities
* Conducting pre-admission assessments and completing costings for prospective admissions
* Creating and developing strong relationships - internal and external
* Leading and motivating your team
* Dealing with recruitment, employee relations and other people related issues
* Facilitating and co-ordinating staff training and development, conducting appraisals and supervisions

This is a Full-time Permanent position working 40 hours per week working in the Liverpool area.

The salary for this position is �50000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
