An ‘outstanding’ special needs school in Uxbridge have a great opportunity for two Special Education Needs (SEN) teaching assistants to start immediately.

The aim of the school is to provide a holistic approach to education to allow pupils with complex needs to achieve their full potential and to make the most of their intelligence, focus and skills.

The role supporting secondary pupils with physical disabilities, complex needs and severe learning difficulties requires an experienced, determined and resilient SEN TA who is committed to the enrichment of the pupils under their care and their continual development within the school.

Do you have the following experience or skill set:

* Experience supporting children with Special Needs in a SEN school or mainstream school experience
* Care assistant experience
* Nursing
* Residential care worker experience
* Support Worker experience
* Training in moving and handling, hoisting, personal care and/or PEG feeding

Do you also have?

* High energy levels required when working with children with complex needs and autism
* A desire and willingness to commit to further training and long term work

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
