This school is looking for a fantastic science teacher to join their richly diverse and vibrant community. With a primary school, secondary school and sixth form the school can ensure the development of their students from a young age until further education of entering the work place. They aim to help young people become leaders for tomorrow, helping them to flourish academically whilst preparing them for adulthood.

About the role

Science Teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating engaging and diverse lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Teachers will be expected to raise student attainment and get them excited about learning

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student’s work.

Location

The school is accessible via Stanmore underground(less than 5 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching science at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
