Large Roman Catholic Secondary school require a French and Spanish teacher to join their MFL department in September 2018.

With an increased demand for Modern Foreign Languages particularly French and Spanish from pupils across the school, the MFL department at this hard working RC faith school are looking to appoint a hard working MFL specialist to join their faculty in the new academic year.

* Full time MFL Teacher – Spanish/French Specialist, September 2018.
* Must hold QTS/NQT – Spanish and or French specialism is essential.

* Opportunity to progress onto a fixed contract with the school.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS (�22,917 - �38,633) Experience Dependant*

The incoming MFL Teacher can expect to join a supportive staff team, with student attainment at the core of their teaching and Learning. The senior leadership of this growing secondary raise aspiration for all pupils, through continual support at all levels, and work to support their staff members in all areas of education.

The successful MFL Teacher will be expected to;

* Knowledge of the French and or Spanish curriculum through key stages 3 & 4 is essential.
* Lead a full time table delivering dynamic Spanish and French lessons, relevant to pupils every day life.
* Plan, Prepare and monitor class work reporting back to senior leadership.
* Promote a growth mind-set.
* Confidence managing behaviour in class according to school behaviour policies.

This larger than average Roman Catholic faith school is based in Salford, Greater Manchester. With just over 1100 pupils on roll, aged 11-18, it is ideally located and can be accessed via the M60 and M61. There are also various public transport options within close proximity to the school with links throughout Greater Manchester.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
