Design and Technology teacher – September 2018 – 1 year fixed term contract

A client school of Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Design and Technology teacher on a 1 year fixed term contract. The successful candidate must be comfortable teaching design and technology to KS3 and KS4 students of all abilities.

* 1 year fixed term contract from September 2018
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS (�22,917- �38,633 per annum)
* Teaching Design and Technology – Resistant Materials, Product Design and Graphics

This is a great opportunity for someone to teach a wide range of skills to students who show willingness to learn and take pride in there work. This is an Ofsted rating ‘Good’ school where relationships between students and there teachers are strong and are based on mutual respect. You will need to be able to teach the main principles of design and technology comfortably and be able to create diverse and engaging lessons for students.

This school is in the heart of Bolton, with 950 Students on roll it is a medium sized school. The school is located just a few miles Bolton train station and can be accessed via the M61 and M60 which makes for good access for surrounding areas such as Bury, Salford, Manchester and Wigan.

The successful candidate must have a PGCE in design technology or a QTS (Qualified Teaching Status)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
