The post holder will identify and build relationships with large social businesses with growth potential and promote the services of the Social Business Wales project. The post holder will also be required to identify growth markets within Wales and promote these opportunities to the Social Business sector. In order to be eligible to apply for this job, you must be able to demonstrate the following criteria (applications which do not address these criteria will not be considered): 1. Experience of identifying established businesses with growth potential. 2. Experience of facilitating networks and events In addition, our ideal candidate would also be able to demonstrate the following: 3. Experience of identifying business sectors with growth potential. 4. Experience of developing and procuring research into potential growth markets for businesses. 5. Experience of developing pilot projects that will support the developments of new markets with specific relevance to social businesses, for example social care. 6. Experience of promoting growth markets to social businesses through relevant events and literature. 7. Experience of using digital technology to access new markets. The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is desirable but, not an essential requirement for this role. You will need to demonstrate how you meet the above criteria using the supporting statement within the application form. The role is fixed term until 31/03/2019 with the possibility of extension. The role is full-time (35 hours a week), however a job share would be considered. The role will be based at our Caerphilly office. This post is funded by Welsh Government and European Regional Development Fund. The starting salary is £31,105 per annum.
