From September 2018, Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher, to support a class with an average of 7 or 8 children. Teaching Personnel are supporting a client provision in Fulford, York who have a continuous intake of children and would like you to be a Teacher of choice for them! Due to the business needs of the school and the uncertainties around pupil numbers and future class sizes this will be a placement through Teaching Personnel on a supply long term basis.

The successful candidate will:

* Be an outstanding practitioner with a passion and commitment to cross curricular teaching and learning.
* Have a proven track record of strong outcomes for pupils in Key Stage 1.
* Be Knowledgeable about the Key Stage 1 curriculum and be able to interpret assessment information to plan future learning.
* Able to follow and take on board advice and guidance from colleagues.
* Be willing to lead a curriculum area.
* Be able to differentiate lesson plans according to the needs of the pupils.
* Have experience with Phonics programmes, specifically Letters and Sounds in particular.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
