With more than 20 years of experience in the conference sector across the Life Sciences and other markets, our client is well-placed to respond to this need and offer a unique and high-level platform for executives to engage and network with each other.

This is a great opportunity to join an exciting new business that is reinventing traditional B2B conferences and networking through shared ideas and peer to peer learning. The business has achieved impressive accelerated growth so to support this next exciting phase they are now seeking a smart, energised sales person. You will also have the chance to be mentored by a team of individuals who have worked across some of the biggest names in Pharma.

Duties of the Sales Executive:

* Researching all prospects to identify, prioritise and qualify the highest calibre network members for acquisition against a key set of metrics and targets.
* Call prospects to acquire members in the right volume to meet agreed targets.
* Set-up follow-up phone appointments with delegates for the Portfolio Manager to conduct deep research & profiling
* Full ownership of Pharmaceutical "pipeline" and "account management" of prospects to join our Xchange meetings.
* Meeting and presenting to clients face-to-face and traveling abroad through Europe and the US East and West Coast.
* Working closely with the founders to deliver world class business products based on research with members.

Requirements of the Sales Executive:

* 12 months Telephone Sales experience
* 2:1 Degree would be beneficial
* Background knowledge within life sciences
* Excellent telephone skills
* Good research skills to generate leads
* The ability to engage with customers at a senior level
* A target-driven mind-set whilst being commission-hungry
* Ambition
* Experience working in a fast-paced SME is a plus
