This full time position will be offering a permanent contract for the right practitioner. Experience working with children with early years students is required. If you are a vibrant early years teaching assistant or a early years practitioner looking for an inclusive and forward thinking school then this could be a great opportunity for you. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and confident and will be able to support and inspire children to foster their enthusiasm for learning. They will also have the skills and maturity required to take on the Teaching Assistant’s
duties and responsibilities. A willingness to contribute fully to the extra-curricular activities and life of the school is vital.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent), which must include English and Maths (A-C Grades) and experience of working with children in an Early Years setting is essential.

A childcare qualification (CACHE Level 3, BTEC National Diploma in Childcare or NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or equivalent) would also be an advantage. A First Aid qualification, or a willingness to undertake First Aid training, is also essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
