Transport Clerk/Sales Administrator

Location: Crayford, Kent, DA1

Our client is a multi-national aftermarket motorcycle parts manufacturer and distributor and international market brand leader within their Head Office in Crayford, Kent.

Purpose of the Transport Clerk/Sales Administrator:

To provide a pro-active and efficient service to a portfolio of UK and overseas customers in a fast paced customer focused environment.

Our client is looking for a Transport Clerk/Sales Administrator to join their team and help achieve their goals. You will serve as a point of contact for suppliers & customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries. Their ideal candidate has deep knowledge and experience of Transport/Logistics/Sales/Customer Service best practice. If you have exceptional organisational skills and thrive on being part of a team, they would like to meet you.

Main Responsibilities of the Transport Clerk/Sales Administrator:

* Arranging transport/logistic requirements for internal & external supplies and deliveries including preparation of shipping documents (bill of lading etc.).
* Processing invoices of all sales transactions via email and phone
* Order processing
* Checking prices and contracts are up to date
* Taking phone calls and emails from customers and suppliers
* Liaising with customers regarding order status.
* Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails
* Checking stock availability on ERP system (Microsoft Navision)
* Generate picking & packing documentation for orders
* Developing good product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and features.

Requirements of the Transport Clerk/Sales Administrator:

Essential:

* High organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time.
* Experience of transport/logistical/order processing.
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* Strong communication skills
* Must be details oriented
* Excellent Microsoft skills on Word and Excel
* Excellent customer service skills

Desirable

* Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics.

General

* Working hours are 37.5 per week
* 25 days + 8 days bank holiday
* Discretionary bonus scheme
