Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Wigan who provides education for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties from Years 1 to 6. Everyone in the school strives to create an environment where teamwork, support and friendship form the basis of our relationships. They value children as individuals and encourage their development as active, positive members of the school and their own communities

This school have a high need for TAs on a daily basis and do take strong candidates on long term roles. This school is a 10 minute drive from the M6 and a short distance from the A58. There are bus stops within walking distance from the school.

Person Specification:

* Experience of working with children on a small group or 1:1 basis
* Confidence to support children who are verbally and physically aggressive
* Ability to use own initiative
* Available from 8.30-3.30 Monday-Friday

Desirable:

* Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour or vulnerable adults
