Do you have experience supporting children and young adults with behaviour needs?

Are you seeking a new challenge for September?

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in the Bournemouth area, seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils with behaviour needs.

The school is a pupil referral unit, catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school. The school has a very supportive SLT and offers ongoing training for their staff. The school is in Bournemouth, has on-site parking and is easily accessible by public transport.

You will be working 1-1 with a pupil, supporting them in their education. The pupils in the school can be challenging and some have additional needs, including SEMH and Autism.

You should be confident, resilient and have a good sense of humour.

We are keen to hear from applicants from a range of backgrounds including Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Youth Workers, Support Workers, Military and Sports Coaches.

This role is to start in September 2018, however there may be the opportunity to start sooner dependent on availability.

The working hours are 8.30-4, Monday - Friday.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
