Please Note: This is a contract for 3-6 months initially. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and must be at least 25 years of age to be able to drive the TMO's vehicles (for insurance cover). Candidates must have an enhanced DBS valid within the last 12 months Summary: This role is for 30 hours per week to help with admin, planned installations/reviews/deletions, and emergency response work Candidates should ideally have previous careline and admin experience This role will involve a lot of admin duties Responsibilities: To carry out planned and emegency visiting to clients and provide appropriate assistance, including ensuring that emergency services are called where necessary and ensuring that clients' homes are left secure following visits To programme, test, and clean equipment ensuring the equipment is serviceable and complete stock control and other records as required To install and demonstrate equipment homes, collecting information and completing all necessary forms To carry out regular planned reviews of clients and equipment To take follow up action where necessary including liaising with colleagues, line and on call managers, clients, carers, social services, G.P.'s, emergency services and other voluntary and statutory organisations to provide support to clients To liaise with sheltered housing wardens regarding schemes and clients who are linked in order to ensure a two-way information process and details are kept up to date To install and remove equipment for individual clients. To clean and reprogramme equipment as and when is necessary To promote within the public and private sector, give presentations, demonstrations and to assist with explaining about the service to various organisations as well as to potential and new clients Maintain accurate records and statistics i.e. - referrals and installations forms, visit report forms, electronic databases etc ensuring confidentiality at all times To safely drive the alarm service vehicles and maintain them in good condition. Ensure the vehicles are prepared for use i.e. - fuel, tyre pressure and oil and ensure any damage is reported Maintain secure records of keys held on behalf of clients At all times behave in a manner that is appropriate to the situation whilst visiting clients in their own home Essentials: Experience of providing a quality service Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people Have an understanding of Information Technology Ability to deal with diverse matters, work well under pressure and cope in difficult circumstances Ability to keep written records, produce reports and give close attention to detail Able to work with minimum supervision. Patient, calm, tactful and sympathetic but positive and assertive when appropriate
