About the role

As Trainee Personal Accountant, you will work alongside Personal Accountants in a high performing team. You will assist Personal Accountants with the day to day delivery of our service:

● Assist with managing communications with our customers
● Assist in the management of our provision of services including tax planning and accounting support
● Assist in reviewing accounts and VAT returns
● Assist in the preparation of personal tax returns, P11D returns and other statutory returns

About you

Our ideal Trainee Personal Accountant will have good practical hands on accounting experience plus general tax knowledge including small company taxation, VAT and PAYE.

This role would be great for you if you’re driven, ambitious and want to develop your career and progress into owning a portfolio of your own clients. You’ll:

● Have a passion for delivering great client service and developing strong client relationships
● Be able to manage multiple tasks in a busy working environment
● Have a proven ability to review accounts and tax returns
● Have experience dealing with tax related questions, both business and personal
● Ideally hold an appropriate qualification in accountancy although support for further qualification is available
● Be keen to develop their skills towards taking on more responsibility
